uschi Posted August 24, 2011 Report post Posted August 24, 2011 Hello everybody, i deployed an application per User. I logged in with the specified User and i could install the application via Software Catalog. Everything worked fine. But after i logged out and logged in with another user, who isn't in the Usercollection, the application is available for this user. Is this normal behaviour? I thought if an application is deployed for a speficied user and another user loggs in to the same Device, the application shouldn't appear for this user. Peter van der Woude Posted August 24, 2011 Report post Posted August 24, 2011 How did you configure the application? To the Primary Users Machine? User shouldn't be logged on?
uschi Posted August 25, 2011 Report post Posted August 25, 2011 User1 is getting his application on his primary Device ... after he logged off, user2 logs on to this device ... the application for user1 is still available for user2 but user2 isnt in the usercollection for this application. I thought, if an application is deployed only to a speficied user, then the application disappears for other users who log in to this device. Peter van der Woude Posted August 25, 2011 Report post Posted August 25, 2011 No, it deploys to the primary device of user1 (just like you specified). It's kinda hard to make a local installation disappear when another user logs in (you can make an msi to install only for the user, and that's about it)...
