sccm agents on computers

hi all,

 

in our network, we have some computers that we can't install patches. these computers are connected to several machines in our mills and cannot be rebooted, so the patching process is done manually.

 

to make sure that patches are not installing, i would like to disable the software updates agent on these computers.

 

since i have no wish to connect to each computer and disable the agent, i'm looking for a script, preferably vbs, that could help me do that task.

 

can someone point me in the correct direction where i could have the required information to make my script?

It just uses the wusa agent to install patches, so just disable that one. Or just remove the SCCM agent..

or add exclusions to your collection queries that the updates are targetted to, so that it excludes these computers
