liquidcourage1 Posted September 22, 2011 Report post Posted September 22, 2011 Here's what I see when I attempt to "Install from definition". I can't see the Configuration Manager Upgrade Client for some reason. What could I have missed? Thanks, Carlton
anyweb Posted September 22, 2011 Report post Posted September 22, 2011 are you logged on as the same user that you installed Configmgr as ? if you click to the left of the RED icon does anything happen ?
liquidcourage1 Posted September 22, 2011 Report post Posted September 22, 2011 I may have been logged on as the Administrator, but now I'm logged on as a Domain Admin. I can highlight a package and the red (!) icon goes away. However, I don't need those packages for OS deployment, right? I noticed within the MDT toolkit that there is a ConfigMgr definition install, but it did nothing for me even after a reboot. Peter van der Woude Posted September 23, 2011 Report post Posted September 23, 2011 The MDT integration gives you extra options with creating new Task Sequence(s) and extra steps.
liquidcourage1 Posted September 23, 2011 Report post Posted September 23, 2011 Uninstalled SCCM and MDT. After a reboot I reinstalled both, but I still can't see the Configuration Management Client. I'm at a loss here.
liquidcourage1 Posted September 27, 2011 Report post Posted September 27, 2011 I captured the client manually from the SCCM ISO. I hope this version works. I can't tell yet since I have another issue (OSD) on another thread.
