SUP for SCCM/OSD deployment only?

Hello, i would like to include a way for our Windows 7 SCCM/OSD deployments to stream latest updates after they get deployed. However, our system administrator is using a WSUS server and she does not want to change at this point to using SCCM as the agency updater. I was wondering is it worth it to set this up solely for the purpose of updating deployments or does it seem like too much trouble. Maybe there is a better way to get newly deployed computers fully updated?

You can simply use the existing WSUS server to install updates during a ConfigMgr TS.

Thanks, trying this now. Hopefully our GPO for WSUS that has it throttled at 56kb during day hours won't be in effect for this but i have a feeling it will
