nk5316 Posted November 11, 2011 Report post Posted November 11, 2011 I have some newer machines that have icore5 and icore7 processors. When I pxe boot these machines and they enter winPE.. right before it asks for the PXE password the clients reboot. This is happening all on newer model Dell, HP and Lenovo machines. I tried two old dell machines with a Centrino 2 and a Core2 Duo processor and they both worked just fine. Any suggestions? 0 Jorgen Nilsson Posted November 11, 2011 Report post Posted November 11, 2011 It sounds like you don't have the correct network drivers in WinPE. Try adding them and enable command-line support in winpe, press F8 and run ipconfig to see if you got an IP-Address.
