SCCM (Helpdesk) remote assistant - copy and paste

Hi Guys,

 

I have just recieved a complaint from a helpdesk memebr that they cannot copy and paste text from his machine to the users machine through remote assistant, Is there a option for this somewhere? I cannot see one.

This is not possible in with Remote Tools for SCCM 2007.

But if you look at SCCM 2012 you are able to share the clipboard.

 

Maybe you can use 2012 Tools on a 2007 agent..

I havent tried this..But it might be worth a try if it´s important to you.

Just to clarify, copy and paste will work via RDP by not via Remote Assistance. Its a limitation/feature of remote assistance that it doesn't share the clipboard. It drives my service desk nuts too.
