clduckett Posted August 14, 2008 Report post Posted August 14, 2008 Hi all, I am wrestling with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and would like to set it up to be a DHCPv6 (IPv6) server to dynamically route IPv6 addresses to IPv6-capable clients (e.g., Vista, XPSP2). Now I can get DHCP (IPv4) to install and work just fine, but when it comes to setting up DHCPv6 on the server none of my clients are getting an address. Is there a separate "piece" I need to do/add-on in DHCPv6 (IPv6) that I don't have to do with DHCP (IPv4) which just works as expected? I've tried both stateless and stateless modes, but to no avail. Thanks, Craig
