I am a beginner. In my ORG i have configured WDS with MDT Tool (MDT 2010 Update 1). In that i just created desktop deployment share for deploying OS Images (In Desktop Only). Its Good.
Whats my concern is. Vendor has configured a Deployment share for Laptop. In that they configured application too. Setup like this. We have different model laptops and each laptop having different device drivers and diffrent device based applications (Like Finger Print Softwares, Wireless softwares, and Bitloker too). For that they created a SQL Database. If i have, for ex Dell E5400 Laptop i am going to install windows 7 Operating system on that, when i press f12 it will automatically detect the model and push the specified application and drivers for that model.
Can somebody give a brief explanation about this. And how to do that. I really wanna (ver eager) to have the same setup with my test lab. and also pls let me know how to configure application and how to configure Bitlocker and so many stuffs.
