majo Posted January 9, 2012 Report post Posted January 9, 2012 Hi all, I have a problem with deployent wiht XP OS. The computer starts the task sequenze and what works, at least before rebooting and installation os Windows XP. The computer reboots after installing drivers and setup and config, following screen comes up. but nothing happens. It stays there forever(at least during the weekend). I`m not able to do a thing and the same happens if I try to restart the machine and even starts over again and run the task sequense. It works on other machine so I dont think that has to do with the TS or image. any suggestions? majo
0 wmmayms Posted January 9, 2012 Report post Posted January 9, 2012 Begin with enabling F8 mode and look into your logs: cd %temp%\smsts
0 Lucid Posted January 9, 2012 Report post Posted January 9, 2012 I'd also suggest comparing the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) on the machine that failed against the ones that worked. If the HALs are different you may need to use a script to change things, or a different image. Remember, XP is HAL dependent (Vista and 7 are not)... 0 majo Posted January 25, 2012 Report post Posted January 25, 2012 I think I fixed this by removing following drive: ST Micro Accelerometer from the package. This solve the problem for me.
