MDT and Dell drivers works, but need help with popup

Hello All,

 

I've got MDT working to install OS and Dell E6420 driver (driver pack). It's awesome!

 

But after the task sequence is completed and Win 7 loads up, i get the message "Open File - Security Warning". The file points to the touchpad and sound card.

If i check Device Manager, all drivers were loaded.

 

Hopefully picture loads.

What I do in this case is, go into my Device Manager and if I have a yellow question mark, go to Dell's site, find the driver that makes that yellow question mark go away and then add that into the driver packages as well. See if that helps.

For drivers like this where you only seem to be able to find a .exe installer, not the raw .inf and .sys files etc,

I have always used "driver magician".

 

Install the exe on the machine with the issue, get the device showing as working in device manager,

and then install driver magician and use this to harvest the drivers for that device to an output folder.

 

Now use these drivers files in your drivers package - Usually does the trick for me....
