Windows xp deployment fails at Apply Operating Sequence Step.Help!!

Hi,

 

I have followed the guide properly. configured everything. Created a boot image and added nw drivers to it.ccmsetup is successful on the client.

Setup:SCCM 07 R2 on Windows Server 2008

Issue:

1.When the task sequence starts on the client machine,Windows PE boots.

2.Formats the drive.

3.Apply operating system stage starts and then ends up in error 0x80070002.

-I have checked the network access account.Tried to set it to SMSread as well as the Administrator account.

-I thin k it might be a driver related issue.So i added Intel Pro drivers for my VM's.Added Win PE drivers for HP and Dell machines available at their website(Im also running the same on Dell Precision and HP elitebook laptops).Added all possible drivers, but to no gain.It still ends up in the same error.

 

Please see the attached logs.I'm in dire need of some help here.

How does Win PE resolve the DNS? Is this the real problem? How can i fix this?

OK.I defiately have driver issues in addition to what you guys might find in the logs.

Win PE is not assigned any IP. I added many drivers to the boot image.(Win Vista as well as Win 7).Still not working!!

What to do?
