majo Posted January 25, 2012 Report post Posted January 25, 2012 Hi.. Got this message during task sequense of deployment of OS XP. The task sequense installes OS and drivers and when the task sequense is restarting the machine, I`m getting this message. “No bootable devices- strike F1 to retry boot. F2 for setup utility Press F5 to run onboard diagnostics” I run the installation by using "stand alone media from usb memory stick. the memory stick was not removed during the deployment. It worked fine on another computer, but not this one. The computer was a dell E6420. Can it be disk problem? I have tried couple of times and the same thing happens any leads?
