nguilbea Posted February 7, 2012 Report post Posted February 7, 2012 I am setting up a new SCCM 2007 envirmonent and will not be allowed to extend the schema. My question is do I still need to setup the system management container in AD?
Jorgen Nilsson Posted February 7, 2012 Report post Posted February 7, 2012 Hi, If you won't extend the schema then there is no point in creating the System Management container as it will never be used. However I strongly recommend that you extend the schema as it improves functionality in SCCM especially when roaming. nguilbea Posted February 7, 2012 Report post Posted February 7, 2012 Thanks for the reply. Unfortunatly I will not be allowed to extend the schema. (Company rules). I am having another issue. When I setup a collection based on AD OUs I can only see a few of the OUs listed under value. I do not understand why I can see some, but not all. Any ideas?
