StefanWe Posted February 10, 2012 Report post Posted February 10, 2012 Hi, i created a simple task sequence to capture my installed windows 2008 R2 system with my software installation. But the task sequence aborted. I could see in the smsts.log this error message: capture operating system image. the request is not supported 0x80070032. My task sequence only contains 2 steps. the first is, to set the OSDTargetSystemRoot to c:\windows and the second is the capture process. I know i have not prepare step and i don't did a sysprep manually. I havn't installed a sccm client on the win server so i would capture a blank system. StefanWe Posted February 13, 2012 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 Good morning, for all, who are interesting in this case. The problem was the missing sysprep /generalize. I did it on the installed windows system, reboot my machine and then, i could capture my os.
