larrylaffer133 Posted February 15, 2012 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 My task sequence paritions and formats a hard drive, applies a WIM image, but when it gets to the Setup Windows and Configuration Manager step, it reboots the computer without an error. Windows then installs devices and gets ready to boot for the first time, then it goes back to SCCM and just sits there doing nothing. I've tried using the Client package that points to the "Client" folder and I've also tried making a package that points to the ClientUpgrade folder. In both cases, the task sequence seems to load ccmsetup but then it needs to reboot the machine. I don't understand why it reboots and then tries to continue the task sequence after "setting up the computer for first boot". The same task sequence works fine on my SCCM 2007 R3 environment, and it does not reboot after the Setup Windows and Configuration Manager step, it just continues the task sequence until it finishes, then reboots the machine installs the devices and boots into Windows fine.
