Vida Aceves Posted February 21, 2012 Report post Posted February 21, 2012 Hi, I am running SCCM 2007 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise server. The 800GB drive that I keep the images on is near capacity. The actual image folder containing images (wim files) is only using 160GB of the 800GB. I am unsure what I can trim to free up space. The following folders are rather large and I don't what they are used for: SMSPKG (143GB) SMSPKGD$ (169GB) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Vida Aceves
Hamilton Posted February 21, 2012 Report post Posted February 21, 2012 When I need to find out what is occupying my drives I use WinDirStat, it gives a great visual representation of the files and folders. And it’s free! You can find it using Google since I can't post the link here...

SuperElvis Posted February 28, 2012 Report post Posted February 28, 2012 Where is your DP? I bet your DP and the folders you are storing your images on are located on the same drive. If so, a 15gig image takes up 30 gig. You might want to consider moving some packages and WIM's to another DP...
