Mikee Posted February 24, 2012 Report post Posted February 24, 2012 Hello everyone, I'm having some issues with software deployment, let me give you a bit more background. - Running out of diskspace on my F Drive (F:\SMSPKGF$)... - Added 1 TB to the server - Changed "Software Distribution" component to the new 1TB drive G:\ - Went to each package - Removed from distribituion point (this removed it from F:\SMSPKGF$ - Added new distribution point. This added the packages to G:\SMSPKGG$ After this was completed. Existing adveritsments and (install software) steps in Task Sequences stopped working. Any idea what might have cause this? Did I 'migrate' the packages over incorrectly? I am unable to get these existing pacakges/adveristments to work after performing the above... I don't want to have to re-create each package again, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
lord_hydrax Posted February 24, 2012 Report post Posted February 24, 2012 Have you reconfigured your network boundries?? I'd guess your task sequences are set to only download from protected distribution points...
Mikee Posted February 24, 2012 Report post Posted February 24, 2012 Lord, Yes my boundaries have been configured for over a year now without any issues. I haven't changed anything in regards to that .. just the distribution point location under the "Software Distribution" component. Thanks!
