SCCM 2012 UDI Task sequense Replace Computer

Recommended Posts

We have SCCM2012 (RC 5.0.7678.0) with MDT2012 (Beta 2) and I'm kinda new

to thees things...

I'm trying to get the replace scenario to work without much success.

I have the relation set up in SCCM and can see the old and new computer in the User State Migration node.

First I used an SCCM Replace TS and the old computer backed-up things to the StateMigration share on the

server but nothing happend when I run the TS on the new computer.

I then deploy an MDT UDI Replace TS to the collection where my computers are.

In the UDI Wizard designer I try to put in a path \\server\share as default value in Network Location

(Select Target - UserCapturePageOldPC) but when I run the thing the Network Location comboboxen is empty

and I can't write anything in it. It's empty in Preview as well.

Allso in the first phase when I run the TS, the Application Discovery fails and I didn't change anything

in that part of the UDI Wizard.

Well it's obvious that I'm missing som parts to connect the dots here ....

Any help much welcome

as i replied on the technet forums your versions are out of date, get RC2 for configmgr 2012 and RC1 for MDT and read the release notes chm file for MDT 2012 RC1
