Error recieved from TFTP server

Recommended Posts

Hello

I have set up a new server by following this guide:

http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5131-using-sccm-2012-rc-in-a-lab-part-16-integrating-mdt-2012-rc1-with-configuration-manager-2012/

At the moment i am at the end of part 7 (where i'm supposed to build and capture by PXE booting)

Two days ago, the computer i tested on, struggled to contact a DHCP server when i booted from network, i added Option 66 and 67 on the DHCP server and the booting came one step further.

It stopped when it tried to connect to TFTP...

Yesterday I tried to boot once more (without having changed anything since last time it failed) and it worked! It loaded the boot image and i came another step further (to the task sequence selection etc.)

Since i got an error when running the task sequence i tried to find out what could be wrong by searching, trying different stuff and failing.

Today I am stuck at the TFTP part again, and this is how it looks like:

Client IP: 172.x.x.x MASK: 255.255.255.0 DHCP IP: 172.x.x.x

Gateway IP: 172.x.x.x

TFTP.

Filesize = 0 bufsize = 546816

TFTP.

PXE-T04: Illegal operation error

PXE-E36: Error recieved from TFTP server

PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM

My SMSPXE.log file looks like this (not much info to get from it to be honest):

Anyone got some suggestions for me?

I don't understand what i could have done wrong yesterday that made it go back to being stuck at TFTP...
