Terence Posted April 26, 2012 Report post Posted April 26, 2012 Hello, when setting permissions in AD , once you have created the system management object and you delegate control, do you have to add the SCCM computer account or can you just add a group (which the SCCM server can be a member of). I added a group today but SCCM doesnt appear to have the right permissions to publish. thanks
kris00l Posted April 30, 2012 Report post Posted April 30, 2012 It works as I have done similar way i.e, giving sccmsvrs group the permissions required. Although you get a *warning* during installation that SCCM Server doesn't have proper rights to system management which you can safely ignore. Please follow LAB Part 1 document found here for providing the delegate permissions. You add sccmsvrs group just like you are adding a sever.
