Alerts for New Updates

Hi there,

 

How do people manage new updates that are sent out from Microsoft? In my usual WSUS setup, i would receive emails when new updates had been synchronised under the criteria i specifiy.

 

Can i do this with the WSUS that is insatlled on the SCCM server or will it cause issues?

Hi,

 

I receive Emails directly from Microsoft if new Updates are published. As the Patchday is always the same day I simply wait for the email to see what new updates are published, wait until my System Update has synchronized into SCCM and then deploy the patches.
