PandaIT Posted May 4, 2012 Report post Posted May 4, 2012 FIrst let me thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Now to the question, in the Prerequisite Check I have a failure it says "Client Version on Management Point Computer" when I click on it to get the details I get this paragraph "You cannot install te management point on a computer with an earlier version of the Configuration Manager client installed. Upgrade the client to the current version, remove the client, or select a different computer for the management point installation, and then try again." The server that the primary site is going on is brand new built it specificaly to house this server. Any one have this problem and a fix? PandaIT Posted May 7, 2012 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 OK so I fixed the issue, seems my SCCM2007 site was more agressive in delivering the client then I thought.
anyweb Posted May 7, 2012 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 ok so to confirm, you had a configmgr 2007 client installed on this server and that was the reason it was complaining ?
