The msgbox displays correctly now to find out if the OSDComputerName variable works. I have to run through a task sequence to test it since I can't create the SMS environment on my machine. I'll let you know how it goes.

One thing I forgot to ask, how do you run the HTA? Create a package like for VBS script?

First you need to add HTA support to your PE boot image. Check this out.

If you are using MDT you can just copy the HTA to the script folder of the HTA and update your distribution ponts. If not, build a package.

Then add a command line step to your TS which points to your package and simply put in the HTA's name as command line to launch it. With MDT the command line would look like %ScriptRoot%\my.hta

Wow, that's a lot of work just to enable HTA support.

No reason to be scared. It's really not that much work. mount -> add package -> unmount/commit

Just install MDT on some computer. It comes with all the needed packages (cabs) and the newest PE.

Most work will be to add the drivers to the new PE image.

I noticed in Step 16 of the RC1 guide that it talks about creating the MDT boot image so I'm walking through that first.
