Naveed_786 Posted May 26, 2012 Report post Posted May 26, 2012 Dear All, I am trying to install SSCM 2012 but i am facing only one problem when it asks for site code i give a site code and site name when i click on next it gives the following error "Configuration Manager require a supported Sql server version with required hotfix for site database operations to succeed .............. for more information, see http://go.microsoft....?LinkID=232936" so as per instructions on given link i have downloaded upgrade for SQL Server but it when i try to update it gives following error "There are no SQL Server instances or shared features that can be updated on this computer" The version of SQL Server is Product Version: 10.50.1600.1 Service Pack: RTM Edition: Enterprise Edition (64-bit) Instance: NULL Server Name: Server1 Windows Version Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Please tell me what should i do to resolve this issue. See here for a list of supported versions of SQL Server. Step 10 of using System Center 2012 Configuration Manager - Part 1. First of all thanks for your precious time @anyweb i have upgraded the sql server as SP1 from RTM. Just only now i am stuck on cumulative update 6 the problem is this i have downloaded cumulative update 6 but when i unpack it and try to install it just show only Online Sql server books feature nothing else the name of the hotfix is "SQLServer2008R2-KB2679367-x86" please view the attached image file please help me to get out from this problem Thanks in advance Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Naveed_786 Posted May 28, 2012 Report post Posted May 28, 2012 Yes and thanks for your help now i have successfully installed SCCM2012 now i want to install FEP 2012 but i got this error please view the attached image file I have already followed your great tpic "using SCCM 2012 RC in a LAB - Part 5. Enable the Endpoint Protection Role and configure Endpoint Protection settings "to configure SSCM 2012. But there is nothing in all update software.
