bbrownderville Posted June 5, 2012 Report post Posted June 5, 2012 Is there a way to run a program before launching the task sequence for an available OSD, that would in effect require a password before deploying. What we have in mind, is creating a powershell script that asks for a username and password that will try to authenticate to a test share that only us techies have permissions to. If the credintials do not authenticate it would then send an error return code and then cancel the task sequence. We have our pxe servers set up to require a password before it will allow you to choose a task sequence but I do not like that if a user was able to choose the sequence from the software center that they would be able to reimage their computer with not having to have permissions to do so.
