tomr Posted June 6, 2012 Report post Posted June 6, 2012 I've installed SCCM 2012 and imported some packages from my SCCM 2007 server. What I can't seem to figure out is how to edit programs within those packages. I can create new ones, but there doesn't seem to be any option to view or edit existing ones. I found a Technet article on Managing Packages and Programs in Configuration Manager, but it only describes creating a new program, not modifying existing ones. Can anyone tell me where to look? Or do we have to wait for R2 again to get a fully functional product? :-)
tomr Posted June 6, 2012 Report post Posted June 6, 2012 Ok, we figured it out. With the package selected, there's an up arrow thingy (looks like a ^) at the bottom right corner of the screen. Click that. That'll give you a window at the bottom with tabs for Summary, Programs, and Deployments (aka Advertisements). Whoever's in charge of UI design at M$ lately should be shot. I miss the days when things were consistent and well organized. Now you have to memorize where things are, rather than being able to logically figure out where stuff would be.
