wanderer Posted June 8, 2012 Report post Posted June 8, 2012 Hi, We have a working 2007 R3 deployment and a test 2012 one. I've created a few 2012 Applications which work fine on our LAN. I tried taking a laptop home and installing them from there. Without using VPN I was seeing the apps in the Software Catalog but was getting an error when trying to install "Cannot request or install Software". I then connected via VPN and one of the apps worked installing an msi, however this one had been installed before and I think it was already in the cache. My second test app started but it never downloaded and eventually I got an error that it had failed. I have boundaries set via IP ranges for 2012 at the moment, I don't want to do it by AD yet as I don't want our 2007 clients (using the AD as a boundary) to accidentally assign to the 2012 site. Do you think that the problem I'm having at home is that the PC is using a different IP address so that SCCM sees it as being outside the boundary? When I brought the laptop back and tried the failing app again it worked fine. Many hanks in advance, Stephen
