StefanWe Posted June 10, 2012 Report post Posted June 10, 2012 Hi, i installed my sccm 2012. Configured MY DP for PXE usage. Configured my dhcp. OS deployment works well. I could install my clients over lan. But after my client is installed and it reboots, it hangs at the stage where someone could Press F12 to boot from network. But nobody would now boot from network, rather boot from harddisk. In my opinion, the press F12 message should be displayed for some seconds and then, the client should boot from his next device. But this doesnt happen. Only if i change my boot order, so that my client boot first from his harddisk, than it works. Has someone any ideas why this is, or any ideas where i can take a look ? Steve_BE Posted June 11, 2012 Report post Posted June 11, 2012 Hello From what you describe, the first thing that comes to mind in a Bios issue. What brand and model do you use, does it happen with different models, ... or did you already check for bios updates too ?
