Config Manager 2012 install issue

Recommended Posts

i am attempting to install config Manager 2012 and am following the link below

http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5452-using-system-center-2012-configuration-manager-part-1-installation-cas/

I keep getting the following errors when running the Installation Prerequisite Check

1. SQL Server service running account

2. Required SQL Server Collation

3. SQL Server sysadmin rights

1. All services are set to Local System

2. I ran the install script from the above link so I am not sure why I am getting this message

3. I added smsadmin just as the article states

I installed CAS server virtual server on a Hyper V server in Lab. I have uninstalled and re-installed SQL twice and get the same 3 errors each time. Server has all updates and I ran SP1 and CU6 from script provided in above link

Any help is greatly appreciated

Joel
