lanamor Posted July 6, 2012 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 Current environment: Existing sccm 2007 site New sccm 2012 site I have both a 2007 and 2012 SCCM site installed. The sccm boundaries do not overlap between the two sites. Both sites are published to AD. The issue I have is that after an OSD task from the 2012 sccm the sccm client is installed but not assigned to the site. After the OSD is finished, I can open configuration manager from the control panel and click the discover site button and it finds the correct site. After this all is well. The sccm client install package uses the following install options: "/noservice /MP:<my FQDN sccm server> SMSSITECODE=HC1" I don't have the 2012 sccm site published in DNS or WINS but I didn't want to if I didn't have to.
