Cole Posted July 6, 2012 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 I've had SCCM 2012 up and running for at least a month now. Everything was previously working as intended. The other day I tried to deploy a new set of windows updates and I noticed that everything was loading extreamly slow. I pushed through the slowness, but when I finally tried to deploy my software update group SCCM locked up. The deploy button turns orange, at the very bottom left it says "busy...", and it is completely unresponsive. I opened up task manager the cpu is running between 50-75% and memory is about 70%. I've allowed it to continue for hours on end and nothing seems to happen; so I'm pretty once I hit deploy its not coming back. I'd obviously prefer my machine not to run at 75% cpu and 70% memory, but even at these numbers shouldn't it at least eventually deploy my package? Cole Posted July 6, 2012 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 Is there a log or something I can check to see where this is getting hung up? SCCM is on a VM so with the resources being close to max I just expanded it. It's now running at around 30% on cpu and memory utilization. Same problem. Edit: After alloting more resources it finally processed my request after about 10-15 min. That's a crazy delay though... lanamor Posted July 6, 2012 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 Without knowing what resources you've configured for this VM it's hard to say if this is normal or not. Have you taken a look at the hardware requirements for SCCM2012? They are pretty beefy.
