dinodod Posted July 12, 2012 Report post Posted July 12, 2012 Ok, I must be missing a really basic thing here but... I created a package for an application (exe) and deployed it to a collection. However, I need to modify the 'advertisement' but I can't. I went into Monitoring under deployments and I can see my advertisement there, I can't edit it nor can I delete it. Why not? What do I need to do? I looked at the package but I don't have an option to modify the deployment. I don't want to delete the entire package just to re-create it. If it matters, the deployment hasn't been deployed since it's failing due to a software policy issue. It seems I checked the option to use a mapped drive & the option to download from a DP which is a no go. But I should still be able to modify the deployment, right? Thanks for all the help. dinodod Posted July 12, 2012 Report post Posted July 12, 2012 Ok, I also need to understand how to edit the applications inside a package. I want to rename one of the fields for one of the applications in my package and I don't have any option to edit the application. Please advise! dinodod Posted July 12, 2012 Report post Posted July 12, 2012 OMG I just found the answers thanks to this link. I was hiding the bottom half of the screen, not realizing that's the portion I needed to see to manage everything. I saw somewhere about some right click tools for SCCM 2012. I would love to have the right click options to manage the deployments and applications in addition to the new way SCCM 2012 handles them. Is this possible? Peter van der Woude Posted July 12, 2012 Report post Posted July 12, 2012 Just google and you will find a lot of right-click tools, it's even possible to create your own: http://blogs.technet.com/b/neilp/archive/2012/03/18/long-live-right-click-tools-system-center-2012-configuration-manager-console-extensions.aspx
