Rocket Man Posted July 27, 2012 Report post Posted July 27, 2012 Hoping someone can point me in the right direction... My site system volume is rapidly decreasing in free space. I have tried to monitor the directories on it to pin point the exact reason as to why this issue is occurring. I think I may have found the culprit and it is pointing to the SQL ReportServer_log. Each day I am losing approx 3-4GB of space and this log seems to be increasing. Is there any way of removing old logged data from this.....In my enviornment historic reports is not needed... Thanks Rocket Man

nry Posted September 10, 2012 Report post Posted September 10, 2012 Found one for me, in that changing the Recovery Mode of the Report database to 'Simple' removed most of the size.
Rocket Man Posted September 10, 2012 Report post Posted September 10, 2012 Yes.......this is the way to sort this one out... I also had to shrink the DB before hand as it was a whopping 111GB. Rocket Man
