Elemanzer Posted August 2, 2012 Report post Posted August 2, 2012 I'm wanting to install scom 2012 and sccm 2012 on the same server and I have a SQL server and a SQL reporting server. First I'm going to start with SCOM because I'm unable to download all the preq for sccm 2012. My question is, can I install all the SCOM stuff on one server or does SQL need to be on that machine too?
0 Rocket Man Posted August 2, 2012 Report post Posted August 2, 2012 It is recommended that you have a seperate SQL server for each server. Both SCCM & SCOM are fairly SQL heavy and having ONE SQL server to run both may result in poor performance.
