guyver78 Posted August 7, 2012 Report post Posted August 7, 2012 Hi Guys, First of all great forum and great guides, i've learned soo much just reading through this site. Basically I've created 2 SCCM 2012 RTM test environments, 1 at work and another at home. one at work works great and the one at home is very problematic. Basically I keep on getting Task Sequence errors when I try and deploy my Win 7 OSD task sequence. I've even deleted the whole SCCM 2012 server and re-installed it on another virtual Hyper-V guest and I still get errors. I've been able to capture an image successfully but I get a task sequence (0x80091007) error whilst trying to deploy it to an imported Hyper-V guest client. when i go to monitoring and click on the Deployments section it gives me a 11170 error and says TS failed to deploy. 90% of all the (0x80091007) errors seem to relate to a HASH Sccm 2007 error but after looing at smsts.log file (Attached) HASH seems to match. So task sequence displays error (0x80091007) whilst smsts.log displays the following errors !sVolumeID.empty(), HRESULT=80004005 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\framework\tscore\resolvesource.cpp,477) TSManager 7/08/2012 7:32:08 PM 1132 (0x046C) DeleteFileW(sVolumeIDFile.c_str()), HRESULT=80070002 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\framework\tscore\resolvesource.cpp,518) TSManager 7/08/2012 7:32:08 PM 1132 (0x046C) pwszPath && *pwszPath, HRESULT=80070057 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\framework\tscore\resolvesource.cpp,254) TSManager 7/08/2012 7:32:08 PM 1132 (0x046C) pwszPath && *pwszPath, HRESULT=80070057 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\framework\tscore\resolvesource.cpp,254) TSManager 7/08/2012 7:32:08 PM 1132 (0x046C) pwszPath && *pwszPath, HRESULT=80070057 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\framework\tscore\resolvesource.cpp,254) TSManager 7/08/2012 7:32:08 PM 1132 (0x046C) pwszPath && *pwszPath, HRESULT=80070057 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\framework\tscore\resolvesource.cpp,254) TSManager 7/08/2012 7:32:08 PM 1132 (0x046C) I really have no idea why this task sequence keeps on failing, especially since i have exactly the same setup at home and it's working fine. Boundaries and Boundary groups are all set up, its only a single site with 1 distribution point. I've recreated the task sequence, reimported the boot images and no luck. i'm actually wondering if it might be something to do with my network setup perhaps? sql server instance? If someone could please take a look at my log and point me in the right direction i'd really appreciate that. smsts.log
Truppenkoch Posted November 13, 2012 Report post Posted November 13, 2012 Hi Everyone. I have exactly the same Problem and my Logfile ends at the same point like "guyver78". Does anyone have an idea, what the problem could be ? Thanks
Peter van der Woude Posted November 13, 2012 Report post Posted November 13, 2012 That's always a hash error. Usually refreshing the package on the DPs is enough.
vivavilla Posted March 28, 2013 Report post Posted March 28, 2013 Any other possible solutions here? I'm experiencing this problem and updating the DPs does nothing.
ozthe2 Posted April 18, 2013 Report post Posted April 18, 2013 I've found that error number could have multiple solutions, however, I have found that one cause of that error is corrupt \ faulty memory. https://www.fearthepanda.com/sccm-osd-task-sequence-fails-with-error-0x80091007/
