HaikoH Posted October 16, 2012 Report post Posted October 16, 2012 Ok, but how could I use that inside my Task-Sequence? I would have a command inside my tasksequence like "xcopy \\SERVER\SHARE\Files.xyz C:\FOLDER\". Therefor I need the SERVER-Name which is the Hostname of the Site-Server itself (single primary site). Other option for me would be to use an DNS alias in the task sequences so that all task sequences could use the same UNC-Path and inside the site i use an alias that uses this Alias-Name to point to the real hostname... wdge Posted October 17, 2012 Report post Posted October 17, 2012 Read the first reply I posted, it explains how you create a package containing the files you want to copy. Then just use that package inside your Task Sequence.
