chilkurivasu Posted August 31, 2012 Report post Posted August 31, 2012 Hi, We have windows ,Linux and Ubuntu machines in our organization.When we are adding the Ubuntu and Linux machines into domain these are automatically adding into SCCM Console. these machines are showing as Non client machines. please help me out. thanks in advance. Jorgen Nilsson Posted August 31, 2012 Report post Posted August 31, 2012 Hi, Yes they will be discovered by the AD System Discovery agent, but there is no sccm client available for UBUNTU så you will never get a client on there. For SCCM 2007 there are 3rd party products that adds support for UNIX/Linux. If you don't want them discovered, either move them to a OU where SCCM doesn't search for computer or remove permissions from the SCCM Pirmary site server so that it cannot discover the computer object.
