anyweb Posted January 6, 2009 Report post Posted January 6, 2009 some screenies... if you are running Windows XP and you insert the DVD you'll see this or you could just brose the dvd directly and start the install
anyweb Posted January 6, 2009 Report post Posted January 6, 2009 however here's what it looks like when you boot a pc with the dvd in the drive booting... this bit is cool, the Windows logo vibrates in and out slowly.... very nice now to the install, back to reality... more installing setup is starting... accept the EULA choose install type (upgrade or custom) tell setup where to install windows files get copied and then expanded... and finally a restart... anyweb Posted January 6, 2009 Report post Posted January 6, 2009 after the restart you see this followed by some registry settings update and then completing installation (takes some time...) followed by another reboot followed by some first use preparation (startrek anyone ?) enter your user and computername info.. then password enter your product key then decide on what level to protect windows review time and date settings... (deja vu) what network to use ? finalizing settings and finally the desktop itself
