Tay Posted September 12, 2012 Report post Posted September 12, 2012 I have been working on removing old versions of Java in our environment and uninstalled versions still remain in the software reports. Even after running another software inventory the data remains. Is there a way to refresh the software inventory or remove these stale records? It would be nice to see what versions are left after running my uninstall script.
Tay Posted September 20, 2012 Report post Posted September 20, 2012 So for anyone else out there having issues with old data showing up in reporting you will need to run Hardware Inventory to get accurate reports. It doesn't make much sense to me but at least its working now and I know what Java versions are left.
binarymime Posted September 20, 2012 Report post Posted September 20, 2012 I imagine the following maintenance tasks would do this for you, (assuming you are running SCCM 2012): Delete Aged Inventory History Summarize Installed Software Data
