japijap Posted September 20, 2012 Report post Posted September 20, 2012 According to the SCCM 2012 guide of the forum it is necessary to open the TCP port 1433 and 4022 for SQL replication, if setting up a hierarchie. So it is not necessary to do this step if I set up a standalone primary site, right?
Rocket Man Posted September 21, 2012 Report post Posted September 21, 2012 No need to.. This is only needed where there is a hirearchy.... CAS, PS and secondary sites to allow the replication of data between DBs, thus the reason as to why it is not needed in your scenario on a single PS.
