Config Mangler Posted January 4, 2013 Report post Posted January 4, 2013 Thanks I didn't think that would do the upgrade but it has given the option to do so. I'm going in! Wish me luck!
gordonf Posted January 4, 2013 Report post Posted January 4, 2013 what was released on MSDN and Technet is not GA (General Availability) As a VL customer I have access to a SCCM+SCEP 2012 that appears to be version 5.00.7804. What version numbers were the SP1 beta or MSDN releases?
h4x0r Posted January 4, 2013 Report post Posted January 4, 2013 You should see two options for downloading in your VL...one will be "System Center 2012 Datacenter/Standard" and they other will be "System Center 2012 Datacenter/Standard with Service Pack 1"

The SP1 release also included a SQL 2012 Standard download and license. What I'm hoping to determine is if this release is newer than the SP1 beta and SP1 MSDN releases. The RTM release had version 5.0.7711.

What version numbers were the SP1 beta or MSDN releases? the MSDN/Technet SP1 version is 7804, I would be interested in comparing the MD5 Chksums on both ISO's to see if they are the same bits... SP1 beta was version 7782
matt160 Posted January 4, 2013 Report post Posted January 4, 2013 I would expect patch Tuesday to be the earliest.

alewoodrum Posted January 7, 2013 Report post Posted January 7, 2013 Today I upgraded my SCCM 2012 to SP1, it is running on server 2008 r2, however i wonder if that alone will fix the problem with the client check or what else do I need to do. already removed the infamous Microsoft patch KB2506143.
