The TaskSequenceProvider.log does not Exist on Any Machine?

Recommended Posts

There have been a couple of instances recently where I have needed to check the TaskSequenceProvider.log to debug an issue, but it does not exist! (thankfully this very helpful post saved the day; http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1495-the-task-sequence-can-not-be-created/)

I have searched every drive on both our SCCM servers and my own machine (even suspected windows search/indexing was the cause, so i resorted to good old dir /s!!).

Can someone tell me why?

Could it be a different file name in our environment for some reason? Very unlikely i think.
