How to uninstall from a collection a driver on a workstation

Question

Hello guys,

First of all thank you for this superb website, the guide on SCCM 2007 is perfect, I often rely on it.

Anyway, here is my problem :

We have problem with a driver on our workstation, a workaround is to uninstall the driver and reboot the machine (we have tried this on few machines and it works).

My question, is there a way to send a script to all the client in that collection to uninstall the driver and then reboot the machine or should we push a new driver to the client in order to replace the defect driver?

Hope I was clear :)

Thank you in advance for your ideas,

Regards,

Hi,

I woiuld push a new driver to the client as that will probably be a better solution long-term.. You can either uninstall the driver using the command line used to install it perhaps or use Devcon to update the driver depending on platform.

Jörgen
