Side by Side Migration - Scanstate process seems to be frozen

I'm having some issues with the side by side migration working all the time. I would say half the time this process doesn't work.

The main issue that i always have is the scanstate process being stuck or frozen at different percentage in the "Collecting Phase". Would anyone know why this would happen?

 

Migration: Usually Win7 32bit to Win7 64bit

Collections and TS are setup correctly because this does work some of the time.

I have ensure that KB974571 has been dealt with.

I have attached my scanstate TS.

I'm running SCCM 2007 R2

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you look at the scanstate.log to see at what point it hangs?

Yes i did but it didn't give much infomation to resolve the issue. I also took a look at the scanstateprogress.log, It will hang at the "Collecting Phase" at a certain percentage, when i run it again it will hang at a different percentage but still in the collecting phase.
