Running SCCM 2007 R3 (mixed mode), the other day the PSE service point certificate expired. this seemed to set off a chain reaction of issues...
Changed certificate now to 10yrs time, however Mac address associated computers fail to find task sequences, same goes for unknown computers (both previously working)
I never used GUID assosciation, but trying it it works! however, GUID is not ideal, we prfer to use unknown and then if fails mac addresses but neither work, any ideas why now all of a sudden?

(I have tried re-advertising a task sequence)
