kabirhussein Posted October 15, 2012 Report post Posted October 15, 2012 Hi All I am trying to configure Software inventory on SCCM 2012 and have managed to get it working, however what i don't understand is how to configure the view so i can say this Server has all these software, or do a total of all the Servers which have say MS Office 2012 installed. I'm sure this is possible on SCCM 2012 - below is the current view i have when i click on software inventories. many thanks in advance Kabir
AmrelMahdy Posted October 15, 2012 Report post Posted October 15, 2012 You Have 2 Options 1-Make a Query Based on "Add Remove/Programs" Criteria and then write the name of the program or 2-S/W Inventory and adding the actual program name in program files , this will scan the hard disk for mentioned PCs in the Device collection for the program name that u mentioned
Tay Posted October 15, 2012 Report post Posted October 15, 2012 Enable reporting services, then software inventory, and also hardware inventory if you want accurate reports. Under Monitoring/Reporting/Reports you want Software - Companies and Products.

buchster Posted September 16, 2013 Report post Posted September 16, 2013 Hello, I have a question about the Software Inventory. I want automatically uninstall "Dropbox". When i search for Dropbox with a query, i don't found the application in the Software Inventory. I think the reason is, because the application is installed in the profile (AppData). Have someone a way to find Dropbox in the Software Inventory? Thanks for helping me
