If I add to many (20+) Software Updates to a Software Update Group they are not deployed anymore

Hey Folks,

 

I have a real strange problem:

 

I create a Software Update Group every month containing the monthly patches. This month about 156 Items, normally no big deal. The statistic tells me how many Clients are Compliant, non Compliant everything as it should be.

 

Problem- if I run a deployment to a collection (It makes no difference which Collection) the Status for the Deployment is always unknown for all Systems.

 

And now the real strange thing. I created another Software Update Group containing only one kb and deployed it to the same Collection. It worked. The Client gets the Update, even the Deployment Status is correct. Now I added another kb to the Software Update Group- everything keeps fine. The Client shows the added Update in the Software Center. After I added a third kb, the Clients couldn't find the new Update.

 

The third kb isnt the problem, after that I created a new Software Update Group containing only this kb. I deployed only this one to my Collection and it worked again as it should. I gave this deployment a different Installation time so I could find out that the Client got this update from the new Software Update Group / Deployment.

 

To the System. It is a primary site. All Roles, including WSUS are installed on this server. It is managing about 400 Clients.
