Oneone Posted October 23, 2012 Report post Posted October 23, 2012 Where in the task sequance are you trying to deploy the package? before or after the installation of the cm client?
P.Keen Posted October 23, 2012 Report post Posted October 23, 2012 I think I have it sorted out now. Drivers are before the SCCM client, basically left it how it wanted it when I created new TS.
P.Keen Posted October 23, 2012 Report post Posted October 23, 2012 How do I hide the TS from laptops, I have one collection with all laptops in it, and I have two TS advertised to that collection. All as "available" but the laptop sccm client sees both TS, how do I hide the second one from being seen?
anyweb Posted October 24, 2012 Report post Posted October 24, 2012 you could target that task sequence deployment to another collection that has a membership rule setup to Exclude the Laptops collection.

How do you mean? Sorry I'm easily confused, SCCM isn't my forte Currently I just setup two collections one for X laptops and one for Y laptops , with two different TS. Kingen Posted October 25, 2012 Report post Posted October 25, 2012 Hello P.Keen, what anyweb means is that you could exclude a "laptop collection" from the one collection you want to deploy your TS to. First you create a Collection with Laptops in it. Then you add in your TS collection to exclude the laptop collection. Then the TS will be able to only desktop computers. http://security.crudtastic.com/?p=144 http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrinventory/thread/75288b97-1fe6-4634-a20a-54091bba8d91
