SCCM 2007 Remote Tools & Windows 7 UAC

Recommended Posts

Hi, Apologies if this has been posted before!

Our service desk staff use SCCM remote tools to remote control user computers. Since we deployed windows 7, if the Service desk users do something to invoke the UAC prompt, the remote session gets a black screen and the user being controlled sees the UAC dialog box.

I have enabled the policy Allow UIAccess Applications to prompt for elevation without using the secure desktop but this has not worked.

Reading around this seems to be an issue for most people. Can someone tell me if this can be fixed or is this an actual limitation of SCCM 2007?
