I am in the process of putting together a design for SCCM 2012 and appreciate if someone can shed some light and provide some update so that I put the right solution in place. This is brand new install and no previous SMS setup in the environment.
Design scope is to install 2 SCCM 2012 in two datacentres within same geographic location to provide resilient. So I have two Intel servers, one in each DC. SCCM 2012 will be primarily used to install Windows update, Endpoint protection, remote control for desktop and application deployment. So what sort configuration I should choose while installing SCCM 2012? What roles should I install in each Server located in 2 DC? If one SCCM 2012 Server goes down, can I still deploy applications, windows updates etc. provided SQL cluster is up and running? Also how many sites should create for this solution?
